In 2015 I took a user experience design course where I developed a prototype for an android app called "Food Truck a Go-Go" that would offer consumers discounts on lunch at local food trucks in exchange for creating buzz for the brands through their social media channels.
After conducting several user interviews I identified characteristics they had in common to create personas who could benefit from using Food Truck a Go-Go.
After several drafts of wire-framing and building the user journey, I laid-out screens of what the app would look like. It included a loading page, a weekly menu of offferings with the branding of the food truck in our truck icon for easy identification when the user would pick up the meal they had purchased.
When they selected a meal offering to learn more, I used the scarcity of a limited supply to motivate the user to purchase quickly.
After they had picked up their meal, they would a notification that they were automatically receiving one punch on their loyalty card, and would be encouraged to share a photo of their meal tagging the food truck to receive a second bonus punch on their loyalty card.
